My friend Tracy's dog just died today. The one she's had since a little girl. What should I get her to make her feel better? You seem like you'd be a good person to ask.
ugh losing a dog is such a bad feeling. No on really understands what you feel. Most people view their dogs as such and not as members of the family. Im not sure there is much you can get for her. One thing you can do is validate her feelings about the loss. So many people say when an animals passes “Its just a dog”
that is never the case, dogs are loyal and trust worthy (wish i could say that for the human race) Just be there for her and maybe bring her to a dog park. Either way the only thing that will make her feel better is a healthy dose of time
